Every Indian is familiar of Alto reason can be anything like you may have learn driving on it, or you may have one or your any family member may have or Alto is the car your eyes have seen maximum on road.

Alto is an average looking car, interior is average too. There is ok amount of space inside. Space in front is fine but longer person may suffer and on rear space is tight, three gonna suffer. The larger shoulder line, wider window feels roomie. But all this is not problem for Alto buyers because they got Maruti’s trust.

Maruti’s F8D engine is the bench mark for alto, serving from September year 2000 and still present in Alto 800. F8D engine is 796 cc motor and tuned in such a manner that you’ll not feel the punch but not lag either.

Suspension handles the bump well and again tuned well. Brakes are ok they’ll not impress but will make you use to. Power steering works well it remains harder on city but on highway it feels confident. Chassis is balanced when it comes to power to weight ratio. On highway it feels planted and you can feel the weight around on even higher speeds.

Maruti suzuki have done their homework. They know our road conditions, peoples driving style over here and most important budget.
